Went to see
Transformers and
Live Free or Die Hard. Both were really good summer popcorn movies. :D Gonna go see Harry Potter Saturday. I HATE having to wait until Saturday to go to the movies

We're seeing HP on Wed. I'll LJ-cut my entry if I feel the need to gab about it so I don't spoil you.

I keep hearing the critics bash Transformers, but everyone I know who's seen it seems to like it.

I can't play any console games because they all make me queasy. I can't even watch my kids play them. This is odd because I don't have motion sickness problems anywhere else.

Neo...meh. I log on there and shuffle my pets in and out of the hotel and that's it. I can't even get that Werelupe off my account because I don't think the pound will ever be up again. I just can't get excited about it anymore. Maybe we know all its tricks? *shrugs*

My kids watch Nick occasionally, and since both enterprises are owned by Viacom, there are ads for Neopets.com on that channel. That surprised me, but I wonder if interest in it is waning and they're trying to save their investment. Then again, maybe I'm just being egotistical and assuming everyone feels the same way I do. :-P

WoW...I have lots of friends who are into that game, so enjoy!

HP - I'm not spoiler-phobic, so don't worry about that. :D Hopefully I can convince Chrissypoo that we need to go Thursday night.

Neo - practically everything on there has become about $$$. I could be wrong, but the new Neo Mall thing, don't you have to buy Neocash with real cash for stuff that only lasts like 3 months? Insane.

I like that they're trying to do more things with it, but still. I'm not shelling out money for stuff like that.

Not that it matters or anything, but did you know that the guy who like "owns" Neopets is a Scientologist?

And I agree with twocorpses - Transformers is awesome!

I have a 500gb external and I'm already 2/3 full on it :/ Ridiculous that I'm looking to get yet another one in the next year!

What kind of external HD do you have, and are you happy with it? I'm trying to find one that won't be complete crap.

I have two Western Digital MyBooks, the 500gb and I think 150gb that I loan to a friend to swap larger files.

They're both about a year old and fine. They swap between my PC and my Mac with no trouble. You can find them on sale on tiger, newegg, buy, etc all the time, too :)
