I think this chapter has maybe the best description I've ever read of Quatre's attraction to Trowa. It was not only well-written, but it captured every emotion attendant on their relationship, their personalities-- the sex side and the love side and the instinctive self-protecting fear. I read it twice when I came on the paragraph of Quatre getting out of the car to see him. I really liked that very much.

Curiouser and Curiouser about Heero... and wondering if it's possessiveness he's displaying about Quatre or just a reaction to suddenly being the third wheel. A lot of really great interactions in this chapter. Very well done!

Heero is a great wildcard. He's stoic, he's schmoopy, he's impervious, he's vulnerable, he's clueless, he's all-knowing. He's an awesome character all around.

I'm glad you like the 3x4 dynamic. I hope that the relationship carries on in an interesting way for you, if maybe in an unexpected way.

I was so pleased to see another chapter of this. And some 3x4 interaction. *Hugs Quatre* He has one hell of a lot of crap he needs to sort through. I loved the attraction between him and Trowa, very much moth to a flame on both their parts.

*is wondering what is going on with Heero

Pretty icon!

If I was into chapter titles, I would have called this one "Everyone Has Issues; These Are Quatre's".

I really enjoyed this chapter. Seeing the changes in Heero is really making me wonder what is happening with him.

The interaction between Trowa and Quatre is wonderful. I get a very strong sense that Trowa wants more than Quatre will give him, but is infinitely patient and willing to wait. There is warmth and love on both sides that much is really clear. It's the head games that Quatre is playing with himself that is getting in the way.

Cool! I'm glad you liked it. The impressions you came away with were exactly the ones I wanted to convey, which is double-cool with sprinkles.

I so loved this chapter. We get to see Trowa who made such an amazing appearance The scene with Quatre and Trowa when Trowa just walks up to him is wonderful. I'm curious about Heero too, what exactly is going on there. Can't wait for more!

*screams!* I can't believe I missed this chapter when it came out!

I loved the tension in the plot, between the characters, and all over in general like a lovely, lovely shiver of dread and...well. I feel like the whole affair is perched on the edge of some yawning abyss. With creepy 800-year old children at the bottom. And possibly Lestat holding an rock concert. Maybe it's like an Iteration Sixteen birthday party?

Anyway, I especially loved the 3x4 dynamic, though I have to admit that Trowa was kind of creepy to me here. Then again, reading this story definitely imparts a sort of shifty-eyed paranoia, I think - all the mystery and things left unsaid or unasked.

Can't wait for the next chapter! Can't wait to find out what crawled up Heero's spandex and died! Can't wait to see whether or not Trowa got that leather duster on discount or if he's got some tiny Malaysian orphans locked up somewhere making Nikes with very, very low overheads.

I can assure you that Trowa's duster was found in a vintage clothing shop, and that no Malaysian orphans were being taken advantage of in the making of it. A well-paid, middle-aged, happily married Panamanian tailor made it. Then he died horribly of torture when he refused to design and manufacture uniforms for the Alliance.

Er...I meant: Thanks! I'm glad you liked it!
