do locked doors stop bullets?

Jul 27, 2005 00:39

i lost a day,
gained an hour,
and found a life.

All wrapped
up and down
in 26 symbols
lost

divisors
they try to come out in time.
stuffing revelations
to ravel out.
between fingers,around words.

And all the time
she's mumbling

she doesn't care to say
and semantic clowns
pounce listlessly
towards claws coming out from her eyes.

i found that poem ( if i can be called that) in a book from a year ago and i added in the last two verses when i found it, to spice it up a bit.

its very nice. i like the verbage (i think thats the word) - it reminds me almost of black francis -

"Sleeping on your belly
You break my arms
You spoon my eyes
Been rubbing a bad charm
With holy fingers"

I dunno why it makes me think of that.

Didn't read it honostly but locked doors may stop a bullet or two but in return it creates an altered state of bullets that may or may not be more harmful......think abou ti
