Okay, so surgery was pushed back.  I went in today, and first the nurse looked horrified.  honestly, if it had been an easy fix, would i have been in a surgeon's office?!  please.  The surgeon seemed pretty interested, though.  I'm sure he doesn't get many cases like this one, and he was all medical about it.  it was cute

If you get fired for making a mistake, that's just fucking dumb. If that were to happen where I work, and the employee could prove that that's what happened (on camera), they'd probably be asked to pay back what was lost, and that'd be the end of it. Hopefully will be the case for you.

As for the rest. Hope you can find yourself again, though I think you're still really awesome. Let me know how everything goes - surgery, therapist, etc.

I gotta go with that. If it is an honest mistake and can be covered by the employee, I can't see there being much of a punishment at all....much less losing your job. And Lord knows losing a job in Nicole's particular area is a real disaster these days. Flint always makes national news for the bad shape it is in economically. The news articles always seem to go Detroit, Flint and St Louis for downtrodden cities
