asdkfjhasfd oh, this is beautiful! I love that the sex speaks for all that's not right between them, what's not right between Kono and the world, and I love how you paint the team in backdrop. Seriously, Danny has like, two lines, and yet you nail him.

Beautiful.

I'm glad you liked it. :) And Danny's the easiest part! His voice is so distinctive, he takes over every scene he's in.

"You have to be careful," she says, "and you have to tell me what you want, when you want it. And you have to listen when I tell you and not be afraid. And you have to tell me to stay when I try to leave," she says, "because I really want to stay, I want to stay here with you and wake up with you and leave my stupid t-shirt on the floor all night."

Annnnnd that's when I started to get all weepy. This is just lovely. robanybody pointed me here and I'm so glad she did.

Thank you! It was weepy to write, for sure. I don't know why, but I always see Jenna/Kono as a super angsty couple. It makes for good meaty emotional scenes, anyway!

I love this and GODDAMN I want them on screen at the same time and talking to each other. Is that so much to ask H50?

You wouldn't think--but you know, that's even more specific than asking H50 to pass the Bechdel test, and it's a network show, so. Still, I'd rather have the White Collar problem of too many awesome ladies who don't interact enough than no awesome ladies at all!

True, but since they seem to be positioning Jenna as, at the very least, a recurring character, it seems reasonable that she would meet and talk to the other characters? One can hope.

Oh, this is so so lovely, and I hope that when eventually get to see them on the screen together, their relationship hints at something even half as complex and insightful as you have depicted here. ♥

That is absolutely beautiful! The writing is gorgeous, and so are the subtle shifts of emotion between them.
