story of my life these days. i basically have the attitude of money comes when money is needed. you can't EVER think of yourself as broke. there's plenty of money out there, you just gotta attract it. its crazy, like, when i was moving to chicago, i wrote 4grand worth of checks with like, 180$ in my bank account. and somehow, it all ended up ok? i never really stressed about it...and the money was there, eventually. my sister offered to loan me money without me even asking...i got a huge catering job out of the blue that helped...my friend paid me back money that i'd given him like years prior. pretty crazy.
but yeah, don't stress. it'll come to you if you let it. :)
This was my life all throughout college. I would do my grocery list when I saw I was running low. I would buy things that are cheap and last a long time like Quinoa, Noodles, the cans of tomato paste and tomatos. I would also see if I needed to do laundry and think of what I could wear the longest without washing.
Ramen with Broccoli is good, noodles with tomato paste and water is ok with spices, cabbage steamed with Earth Balance is super cheap. I know these are all ghetto but without it I wouldn't have made rent for 3 years of my life while I paid for school!
i try not to get too stressed out about it and limit my worrying about it (it sounds cliche but it actually works if you force yourself not to dwell on something). in the meantime, i am always surprised by my wonderful friends who are willing to lend me money at the drop of the hat. you just have to ask. also, i resort to craigslist a lot and sell off my random junk. people will buy anything and will frequently go to your house (that sounds creeeppyyy) to pick it up. convenience.
sell the things you know you really don't need, ride a bike instead of driving, and instead of doing things that cost money play in parks and live as wastelessly as possible.
as far as stress...I just ride my bike...the more stressed I am the more I ride, the faster I go, the more of a release I Get hah.
