008. Locket
Heecul loves Sungmin.
Secretly of course...he could never tell sungmin how much he loved and cared for him. Sungmin was pure and innocent..Heechul couldn't ruin that about him. So he always stood at a distance watching him.
Heechul loved everything about Sungmin. His smile. His laugh. His voice. His puppydog pout. His radiant smile. They way he looked when he was concentrating hard on something. The way he bit his lip and played with his fingers when he was nervous. His eyes. His hair.
Everything.
But Heechul was like the devil...and Sungmin was an angel. That's the way Heechul saw it. Angels and Devils could never be together. There have been so many times Heechul just wanted to reach out to stroke his cheek...to feel his smooth flawless skin...or to play with his smooth silky hair.
For the first half of the day today it would just be heechul home alone at the dorm.....Then it would be just him and Sungmin since Sungmin's schedule ends early today.
When the other's left for their morning schedules Heechul walked into his room and opened his bed side table drawer. He gently grabbed the black box within. He grabbed wrapping paper from the closet and began wrapping the gift and to complete it he put a little pink bow on the top.
"there." he said "perfect."
A few hours later he heard the apartment door open.
"Hyung?"
It was Sungmin.
Heechul walked out of his bedroom with the gift behind his back.
"Hey minnie I got you something....close your eyes and hold out your hands."
Sungmin stared at Heechul for a moment then did as he was told. Heechul gently set the box in Sungmin's hands.
"Happy birthday....well I know it's late but I wanted to get you something..."
Heechul was majorly blushing.
"Awh thank you hyung."
Sungmin ripped through the paper and opened the box. Inside there was a silver locket.
"Wow...thank you hyung...it's so pretty."
"I saw it in the jewlry store the other day and thought you might like it..."
"I do it's great!"
Sungmin smile his infamous beautiful smile and reached out and hugged Heechul. Heecul stood there for a moment then hugged Sungmin back. They stood like that for a few moments. Then Sungmin pulled away. Heechul and Sungmin stared at each other for a second....then out of no where Sungmin yanked Heechul forward crashing their lips together. Sungmin wrapped his arms around Heechul's neck. Heechul stood there shocked then finally melted in to the kiss and wrapped his arms tightly around Sungmin's waist. The kiss was better than any he imagined having with Sungmin. Sungmin's lips were warm and soft and had a tiny taste of cotton candy. They slowly pulled away.
"Hyung i'm so sorry..."
"...you have no idea how long i've wanted to do that."
"....really"
"yes"
"so you liked me all this time?"
"yes"
"...i've liked you too hyung...."
Heechul stood there dumbfounded. Sungmin liked him? Sungmin actually liked him?
"you've liked me?"
"yes hyung i have...for a while now actually."
Heechul couldn't help but smile.
"Here let me put the locket on for you."
Sungmin nodded.
Heechul gently undid the clasp on the necklace anc placed it around sungmin's neck.
"there."heechul said. "it look's beautiful on you."
"it'll look even more beautiful when your picture is in it."
Heechul smiled and leaned down lightly kissing Sungmin on the lips.
