Fuckitall. Fixing the Cirrus is going to be expensive. Quite probably more expensive than it's worth, but still less expensive than getting a new car. I may be making a mistake fixing it, but I think that's a less grievous mistake than car shopping on short notice would be. That's what I'm going to tell myself anyway

oh ugh, i know how that is. it's sort of like when i shelled out $1700 to fix my car because i couldn't afford to buy a new one less than three months before i crashed it and had to buy a new one anyway. hopefully yours doesn't follow suit and manages to stick it out a little while longer.

Aww, that just sucks. My estimate has been creeping up there as they take it apart and find more things falling off it. I told myself a long time ago that if the car ever had the kind of bill where it would cost more than I paid for it in the first place I would get a new one, but faced with that exact situation yesterday...I couldn't. I just hope this is it for a while.
