Seriously. Omigosh. oh. my. gah.
I got my scores back from my AP Psych test I took way back when in May... I made a 5!!! That's the best score you can make!!!
But I don't get it! I guessed on everything! XDDDDDDD; I'm uber-psyched though! I mean wow. Just wow.
*clears throat* anyways...
Here's a re-cap of what went on in the trip. The trip to Volcán Pacaya was amazing! It turns out that it wasn't the same volcano we could see out of our window - that's Volcán Agua - but Pacaya's hike was still as hard as ever. My mom had to ride a horse up because it was so difficult XD;. Getting to the top was extremely rewarding though. We were all so close to the peak, and got to go and stand on the lava! I've got developed pictures, maybe I'll post some here later. And, luckily, we got to witness it all right before it started pouring rain; it is Guatemala's rainy season, after all.
On Thursday my mom and I went to a Macadamia nut plantation. It was kind of cool, and at least a way to kill the afternoon. XD On Friday, we went to the big market in Antigua and bought some artisan products, and then in the early evening we went and each got 1-hour massages and manicures at a local spa for really good prices (otherwise we wouldn't have done it). It was my first massage and it was really nice!
On Saturday, we slept in because there was no class, ate an awesome breakfast and headed home. I feel like the classes were really a good boost for me; before we went, I was always freaked about speaking spanish to locals and the like, because I'd over-analyze things like using the right tense, etc. But after the classes, where my tutor had me answer conversational questions with her and utilize what I was learning, it became much easier! So it really was a great experience. I might even go again next summer!
This week is going to be fairly busy. I start my SAT prep courses Tuesday and Thursday evenings, I have a tennis lesson tomorrow, and I'm working Thursday, Friday, and Sunday. Plus the Nordstrom sale on Friday and movie night on Saturday! :D
