Oh! And something interesting that I discovered: I am not, in fact, a Leo. This may mean very little to most people, but it's kind of a revelation to me. I've always felt that I didn't fit the typical Leo description: proud, charismatic, self-motivated, dramatic...and a bunch of other characteristics which don't belong to me. Instead, I am a Cancer

Huh. It says I'm really a Sagittarius. Sagittarius makes a lot more sense than Capricorn.

This one moves me into Leo. This is very interesting to me because I was born nine days late and by the traditional astrology I am a Virgo, but had I been born on my due date I would have been a Leo anyway. In research, I found that about 75% the Virgo characteristics did fit me, but so did about half the Leo stuff. So I've always considered myself kind of a combination of the two.

Yeah, I read something similar to that a couple of years or so ago, but they had the dates differently. Instead of being a Pisces I was supposed to be an Aquarius, which made much more sense, and still does. Though, according to this, I can't get rid of being a fish.

You know, though, I see a lot of Gemini characteristics in you - sociable, fun-loving, liberal (not political, more like - accepting?), with an occasional tendency to be moody or restless. That's definitely the Suzanna I know. I think Gemini's and Cancer's are pretty similar in that they are both ruled by their emotions a great deal, but I see Gemini's as being more outgoing and self-assertive, whereas Cancer's tend to be more contemplative and reserved. And you? Are surely an outgoing and self-assertive person.

geminis tend to be assholes- that's my one beef with them. but what hillary says makes sense. i don't think it will ever be implemented, but it is interesting to hear about

I actually read about this in an article relating the ancient flood myths to navigational tools. I think that it doesn't really matter though, because over the years our expectations and definitions of the signs have changed. Like I still feel like I share character aspects with people born near me Even if we aren't under the constellation Libra, we are still "Libras". You know?

Also I think Ophiuchus is a bullshit zodiac sign.

But I understand what you mean - the feeling like, whatever you call us, we're still "us." I'm just so relieved because I always felt kind of a like a failure-Leo, and I always assumed that this was because I was on the Leo-Cancer cusp. But being on the cusp is worse than being a Ophiuchus, let me tell you. It's practically impossible to find any kind of information about your sign if you're a crazy, half-breed, cusp-born kid.
