You're supposed to pick six songs that relate to you and explain why.

"Louie Louie"--the Kingsmen. I was playing in the CIU band at a dance when I was maybe 9 or so, and I managed to end up playing that, even though I'd never heard it or played it before. Lisa talked me through the whole thing somehow. So after that I went and got the song and it's good.

"Russian Dance"--Leopold Stowalski (it's from the Nutcracker. . ). Try playing first and second violin at the same time, it's HARD!

"Victime de la Mode"--MC Solaar. That's kinda my view on doing things to look pretty, plus it's a good song, plus I used it in my French final presentation last year, plus now Mme Knudsen uses it as part of her unit on women's rights in France.

"Do You Believe in Magic?"--the Lovin' Spoonful. This song was written about my stepmom and her friends before the band got big. That's my claim to fame.

"Turn the Page"--the Streets. Dominic on the staff camping trip a couple years ago, plus listening to it while driving through French farmland in the morning and the colours were so beautiful.

"Land Down Under"--Men At Work. It's a good song and relates to two people I know, and it reminds me of watching some movie (maybe Rip Van Winkle?) when I was in preschool. It was kinda scary at the time, and the concept of it has haunted me since.
