I am pretty sure I am going to be at my new job for awhile...I got this new book called the secret, recommended to me by a wonderful fb and its all about how you change your outlook and the energy in which you interpret your life...really interesting. And a week before I had bought the book I had some realizations (as usual) that my purpose in life

I hear ya on the being raised catholic thing. I went to catholic school for 9 years and it destroyed any chance of me becoming religious. It led me to hate the catholic religion, with all its rules and strict guidelines. I tried doing a nondenominational thing for a while which was looser, but I was too far gone. Now I'm agnostic and happy.

yah especially if your parents were dicks about the religion and forced it upon you, not a good time. religion to me seems like a stressor in life, like you always have to wonder if youre doing the right thing, or wonder what 'god' will think...im a moral person and have a level head on my shoulders without having to believe in a god...even though i have had spiritual feelings lately, theyre more like a faith thing, not a godly thing...ya followin?

You hit the nail right on the head. Morality is key. The way I look at it is if god does exist, he's not concerned with me going to church on sunday. Its all about living a moral life. In fact, I have "morality" tattooed on my wrist.
