Guilty treats.

Although I graduated 6 months ago and have been reasonably well paid since then, I find it hard to spend money on "luxury" things without real consideration. This is partly because I spend an excessive amount on a luxury flat, and also I need to save but I think after 5 years of living frugally it's hard to shake anyway. i can't imagine ever being ( Read more... )

Get a freesat box! That's what we have now...thanks to Antony being the opposite of the description above - he'll just go out and buy things whenever he wants!

Mmm it's true. We have quite a lot of good channels though now so it's ok. You can also plug in a usb pen to it and watch things you've downloaded! Snazzy.

What are you up to tonight oh toothless one? x

When I have money, I like to buy really nice makeup, and also good quality shoes. I spend money on crappy £15 pumps all the time, and over Christmas I just CRACKED and bought some half decent boots from Topshop... they were such a good use of my money that when I get a job I'll definitely be buying better shoes again.

Mmm! I/My mum bought me some really really nice ankle boots for work. They are SO COMFY and go with everything and don't let in water etc. Def worth the splurge! And I love proper make up but I forget what it's like until I go home and nick my mum's clinique...

Good question, there are so many things I could list!

I guess just the ability to buy nice stuff, not just own brand stuff from supermarkets. It'd be nice as well to have a house that didn't look like an IKEA advert... it'd be nice to have a really posh sofa, without having to go to DFS and take out a 4 year credit option. If I were a proper grown up then I'd probably buy nice stuff for my flat/ des-res. I'd also get people in to decorate it, instead of doing a hash job of my own.

Other than that, a nice car...? But I'm not too fussed about that. I ought to stop waffling really, but there are so many things I could say in reply to this post! One day maybe I'll get there! (I'd like to think I'm not materialistic, but really, I so am.)

Very true. If I had an endless income I think I would get interior designers so I could tell them what I want then they could source and do everything for me. I'm really bad at only getting half way through things like that then getting bored...

This also comes under the "not included" part of my budget along with train fares and phone bill. I do a good budgeted online shop then pop to marks and sparks after work - it def doesn't count, as it is essential nourishment!

I want a flashy new camera that takes super amazing pics.

I feel like buying a brand name is a treat too, lol.

Ooh yeah that would be great! to buy any electronic goods I'd spend about a year reading reviews and comparing prices EVERYWHERE by which point the one I want is out of date, and I've frittered away the money I was saving for it...
