I learned how to spell 'piqued' the other day. Now I see that word everywhere; it's mocking me. It knew I was spelling it wrong the whole time, - peaked, peeked, p-something-d - and now it wants me to wallow in the embarrassment of my misspellings for sixteen years. Well you know what? NO! What does piqued mean? xP I have a very small vocabulary. Well...its not that small. But its not that big either. Now you must think I'm just rambling. Am I?

Oh man, that's nothing compared to me losing the fifth grade spelling bee. Coffee. COFFEE. I spelled it cofee. Still makes me mad. I missed bureaucracy during the seventh grade spelling bee, which is okay because it's a hard word. But COFFEE. I mean, I DRANK coffee!

I came in second in a grade two spelling bee because I misspelled "fifteen". I spelled it "fiveten". *sigh*

I misspelled "osmotic" on the regional spelling bee. if i hadn't done that, i might have gone to the nationals. le sigh.

I was just the opposite. I knew how to spelled the word, but didn't know how to pronounce it. I would always say "pie-queued." Much laughter behind my back there, I imagine.
