I'm fine. I don't mean to sound apathetic because I loved her dearly--a truly amazing woman--but death doesn't really affect me anymore. And we went out, uh, last month? to go visit her.
I'm worried more about my mother though. She looks sort of... lost.
And according to Grandma, it looks like the people who owned the board and care Nonie was in were about to sell it and turn it over in a month. So most likely, had Nonie still been alive, she would have been moved out of there and into unfamiliar territory. So I guess that's also why I'm okay because it's for the best. She was in a familiar place and she's no longer in pain.
Rolando said she went in good company. They always go in threes, don't they. Our Nonie was the third ^.~
:] Ha. Threes. That was my thought too. I'm fine also, and you're right about her being in a comfortable place. I'm sorry about your mom. You just need to be there for her right now.
I guess I'll be seeing you soon. I just wish it was for a happier reason.
Yeah you'll lose! Because I'll be channeling my Nonie. We all swore she cheated, but she was too sweet looking of an old lady. Maybe that was her cover?

I, too, have a grandmother by the name of Noni. Different spelling, but I'm guessing it's pronounced the same. Coincidence!
