May I just sing the praises here of the website teacherspayteachers.com ? It's a commercial website where teachers can upload units and activities for sale and other teachers can download them for a small fee or often for free.

I went looking for fresh New Year activities for my Gr. 4/5 class for when we get back tomorrow and within fifteen minutes

Is the site only applicable to Canada/NA or is it Worldwide?

I'm not sure which curriculums it follows directly- I guess it depends what teachers set up shop. I was surprised to find units directly connected to the Ontario curriculum. Usually I do searches on the particular skills I'm teaching- multiplication, Science experiments, poetry, etc., and I would think using the website that way would work for any country.
