Just because it's your mom doesn't make it right. People had a huge problem with the holocaust on your plate thing -- but it's just because everyone has a hard time thinking of animals as equals. I don't think I need to go on anymore about that, because I'm sure you understand.

i mean i'm a vegan of course i understand. and yes i did have a problem with the holocaust thing. because although it is the same treatment it's just disrespectful to publicly display pictures from the holocaust when it's something that is a living nightmare for alot of people. and yea just because its your mom doesnt mean its right but to pass out stuff to young kids telling them that their moms are fucking killers doesnt solve anything, it just makes kids scared shitless.

I don't even think that was geared towards little kids -- just using the word mommy because it will get the message across clearer. They have that whole website for children that's not like that at all. Either way I love you, and that's all that REALLY matters.

i think they shouldve gone about it a bit differently.. say "ask your mommy if she wears fur. if she does, let her know it bothers you and share you knowledge on how that fur came to be in her closet". i understand why they wanted to be so extreme, but in a way it seems theyre using the easily persuaded minds of children to their advantage. people should be allowed to make their own choices. laws however, should be different.

exactly. even still i think peta needs to spend more money on the cause and less on glossy leaflets. what about trees? how many trees are killed to make those handouts. and what about the families that all of a sudden have a young child calling their mom a killer.
