You know how sometimes people on your friends list post about stuff going on in their life, and all of a sudden you think "Wait a minute? Since when are they working THERE? Since when are they dating HIM/HER? Since when?" And then you wonder how you could have missed all that seemingly pretty standard information, but somehow you feel too ashamed

19?! Holy shit he's getting old. That's amazing. Poor Keif. I don't know if you remember...but my parents dog Buster is getting the same. He's blind, deaf, has several small tumors and covered in age spots. I only hope when he passes soon that it's as painless as possible. I really hate seeing animals in pain. :-/

I absolutetly remember Buster. He was such a sweetheart when I was there. I remember he sat on the couch with us when we were watching movies.

I hate to see animals in pain too. So far, Keifer's acting fine; he doesn't seem to be in pain, but he's urinating everywhere, but only tiny, tiny bits. The vet thinks he might have either a kidney infection or kidney failure. We're obviously hoping for the former.

We took him to the vet a few hours ago and they sent off blood and urine for testing. We'll find out tomorrow.

I hope the best for Buster and for your family when the time comes. No amount of preparation really gets you read for that sad time. :(
