Do I really need to check my e-mail every time I want to see what my friends posted? Why doesn't that show up with the posts on my friends page? Also, is there any button or something that I'm entirly missing that can allow me to update from my page instead of going to the lj home page? Well, anyway, I'm going home to sleep. Love alliy. heh. um do you mean comments posted? i'm assuming.....anyway, no you don't...they're posting on your journal entries. so you need to go to your own journal page and check comments on your journal. your friends page is for the posts that your friends write in their journals.
there's not a button on your page. but if you click on anything that'll bring the lj menu up at the top (such as user info or any of the comment links) you can get to update from there.
