I suppose it would be too much to ask for there to be a confectioner here, wouldn't it? I'd settle for a baker, although payment for goods would be a little awkward. I have little doubt an adequate compromise could be met, however! It just so happens I seem to be running out of sweets. I'm sure the unfortunate nature of t-h-a-t can be understood ♥ ( Read more... )

Tea is hard to come by, unless you can go find a plant to pick leaves from. Really all we're given is what we can find in the stores, they do get restocked from time to time, although still old and questionable.

As for powers, well, anything beyond 'normal human' I would think. Now, that definition might change from person to person. I have discovered that some technology has been repressed, but not all advanced technology. I think our captors have a very specific idea of what is average. Or, it might just be anything that gives anyone an advantage.

Whatever you've been left with, for I assume you have an ability being repressed if you're asking, is what everyone is left with, for the most part. So anything above and beyond that, is repressed.

It is? That is a terrible shame. And sounds like quite a hassle.

...Technology?

Oh, and people tend to be quite strict as to average as a general whole. It's quite interesting, really~

Me? Oh, that doesn't really matter assumptions can be terribly awkward, you know. I was just curious as to what abilities there are and aren't~ An old man must be careful, you see.

Technology, like cars, planes, radio, they have these things called television here, these hand held devices, telephones, a girl told me she was used to hand held ones, mechanical people, so on and so forth. I don't understand most of it, so I don't pay attention to it when people go on about it.

Always strict, it can be a pain. Just because someone is different, in looks or abilities, doesn't give others the right to make fun.

Sensible, there are as many abilities as you can imagine. My best recommendation would to say 'there is no such thing as impossible', I'm sure someone out there can do it.

Oh, but it's not simply a matter of 'making fun'.

Impossible is such an annoying descriptor as it is~

Mmm...but those answers actually apply quite well. The chips apparently suppress anything that an ordinary human wouldn't have.

I see that reserver there :| allmoveone August 30 2009, 19:23:47 UTC
But what if it's quite normal for a group of people to have those abilities?

Is it quite normal for all humans to have this ability?

In their world, it could be. Normality, abnormality, it's all so terribly strict. And quite boring.

[ 'sup, have a tag before I go to bed. He'll just be...quiet for a long moment before the low muttering morphs into actual words. ]

You're thinking about sweets at a time like this?

And what would you recommend I think about, hmm~? One must have sustenance, after all!

I don't think cake counts as sustenance...

A way to get out of here?
