As for your question, I really do not know-- but it would certainly be nice to have some answers! I understand that there are quite a lot of monsters in the forest, but the expedition teams seem to be able to handle them without too much difficulty. Perhaps people have gotten complacent our captors prefer to keep us here through other means, but ah, that's really only speculation~
