I suppose the mystery of missing memories will remain just that! Ah, 'what is life without a little mystery'? I was never very fond of that saying~ It seems as if one is trying to avoid admitting that they find bliss in ignorance. No-one seems particularly bothered about searching for them, which is a unique approach to losing something, ( Read more... )

If you believe a trade with the 'scientists' is the solution, then perhaps you should take it yourself. No one else will, after all.

[no he is not slightly peeved what are you talking about]

Oh, no, I believe you misunderstand~

Enlighten me, then.

Memories could well be the price paid for something else.

I wonder I wonder, how mad this hatter is~

I have the suspicion our hosts won't bother to trade~

It's probably not good form to comment on one's own sanity.

Hmm~ I suppose we'll see.

It's not, so feel free to~

An item could be acquired the same way as a person and behaviour is easily forced~

Well, they say that an insane individual is always convinced of their sanity, don't they?

Of course. Insincerity can be useful, too.

This certainly wasn't the first time something strange like this happened~ It seems unlikely we'll ever know why.

So I've heard.

[Pause. Oz understands how important memories are-- at least in relation to Alice Break others. Memories... a truth to find. A purpose in life.]

Hmm, is Break going on a hunt for lost memories too?

[He...kind of doubts it. If only because it would be so much more like Break to get someone else to do it for him. Probably unwittingly.]

The scientists don't seem like the kind to be open to making deals~

Not a hunt, per se~

Have you spoken to them?

acreepybrat November 22 2009, 22:11:32 UTC
Huh... well, am I close?

[But Break is up to something, probably.]

You can't make deals with people you never talk to~

It would be a shame to have something remain so lost.

Then one must talk to them~

Excuse me, sir. Is the weather here normally this dismal?

'Normally'? Perhaps. At least, it has been of late.

I understand it is late November. Perhaps it's only to be expected, but I am not familiar with this world's climate.

I've hardly been here long enough to inform you of the climate. Why, for all I know, this could be an exceptionally mild winter. Or it could be a hard winter. It's a little difficult to answer, isn't it, without having been here for the degree of time needed to fully acclimatise oneself.
