Father... I think I know what I have to do, but I don't know how I'm supposed to do it. I know I need to try and rebuild Orb... but before that, there's so much threatening its existence. Sometimes, fighting for your ideals is the only way to uphold them. From what I've heard, Uzumi Athha realized that, and it seems you do too.

Despite his insistence on neutrality, my father was not shy about having a sizable military force. And thanks.

So, Celestial Being... I've read some reports, but if you're being so open I think they might have missed something.

I think what they missed is that we're in about the same state as Orb is now, down to relying on the GDF.

A year and a half ago, we'd have surely intervened against Blue Cosmos. As it is now...

I can't really blame you. It seems like the GDF has more and more of the world going against it as time goes on, and the average civilian is none the wiser.

...It may sound idealistic of me, but I'm hoping to avoid doing both. I'll stay long enough to leave an impression on the GDF -- after that, I plan to go back to the PLANTs and try to talk some reason into my father. Regardless of the outcome, though, I will return.

Actually, I was worried for a moment when I realized that I'd forgotten it. Now... I'm glad that I did.

Even if I couldn't have done anything, I still feel somehow responsible for everyone that... that was lost there... so I'm glad that a mistake like that was for the best.

It truly was for the best. I could protect Luna and got her to safety thanks to it.

And besides, the future isn't determined by anything like fate. All we can do is make sure the sum of our efforts in the past can lead to some good. God, this is good advice to follow, where the heck am I getting it from?
