Howling Moose Gardens is a go!

Thanks for the name help, all.
I've spoken to all sorts of people, and have decided that fun and easy to remember trumps respectable. So I'll stay with Howling Moose Gardens.

Speaking of which, I'm 99% sure I've found my starting greenhouse.

congratulations! I added howling moose to my twitter feed. I am becoming very interested in urban small/home food production. I'm currently at the scale of two pots of winter greens huddling under a bare CFL in my kitchen, with plans for a couple of small garden plots in the summer. I was a happy customer of a year-round hydroponic greens farm in Amherst, MA, last year, and I'm intrigued by your aquaponics tales... are you going to WisCon this year?

Yay! I am glad to hear how this is coming together for you. I found a blog site about marketing for small businesses yesterday, and thought of you. It is at http://ittybiz.com/. The author is a good writer and run to read.

Hi there! snobahr April 30 2011, 21:02:42 UTC
I found you through a labyrinthine process (starting with wikihow, through google, through looking up what I could stock in my back yard, fish-wise, through something else, and OMG I don't remember the step previous to the one that linked your LJ), as I just learned about aquaponics 5 days ago. Yes, I live under a rock.
I am thrilled that you're moving ahead with you aquaponics endeavor! I have friended you because I might want to poke your brain about immediate-family-scale 'ponics.
Oh, great, now I need a fishy/planty/pumpy userpic.
