Punk wise, it seems like every year is different as kids take control, start new bands, places to play change ect. Its fucking crazy but the first thrash fest i went to... at the slaughterhouse in oaktown was like 4 years ago! thats like as long as i've been out of highschool. Christ.

Yeah I agree. The biggest way to destroy any "movement"(for the sake of this comment lets call anyone protesting against iraq a "movement")than to turn it into an industry and market it right back to people. At least thats the way I feel... Look at che shirts maybe?

im sure people thought hippys were a waste of space, which they were, but the left an impact on the 60's and we still remember the era today
