[Cornelia tries to speak, even with the wound in her throat, but all that comes out is a strange gurgling sound as she coughs up more blood.

There's a glint in her eye, though; a spark of that determination she showed during her face-off with Battler. So she must have done something she thought was good. Just... might not have succeeded.]

[When she sees the blood, Dlanor shakes her head.]

Never mind, do not answer. I already have some idea.

[Getting into a fight and getting slashed across the throat would be nothing to be proud of, so Dlanor writes off that possibility almost immediately.

She once again has a flash of deja vu, and remembers Erika felt determined that her sacrifices at the post office were right, as well.]

[She nods a little, and holds up the hand she had been keeping pressed to the wound; of course, it was soaked in blood. Red blood. Hopefully that would be a good hint so Dlanor can figure out what she got back.]
