Single, Taken?: technically, i am single, but emotionally i am very much taken.
Write a paragraph about yourself i love to read & i do it as frequently as possible. i am a grammar nazi & i cannot stand people who wRiTe LiKe ThIs. my four best friends are all boys & i spend as much time with them as humanly possible. i am currently in love & have been for almost 4 years now. i am somewhat elitist when it comes to music & i acknowledge & embrace my character flaws; everyone has them, some more than others, might as well flow with it.
7+ bands: beck, radiohead, my chemical romance, smashing pumpkins, jay-z, red hot chili peppers, aphex twin, queen, mos def, coldplay, missy elliot, gorillaz, beastie boys, cake, blind melon, blur, a perfect circle.
4+ books: a million little pieces by james frey. godspeed by lynn breedlove. the fall by albert camus. the bible.
7+ movies: american history x, liar liar, ghostbusters, monty python, requiem for a dream, the neverending story, fargo, fast times at ridgemont high, fright night, shawshank redemption, apocalypse now, edward scissorhands, ferris bueller's day off, back to the future, stand by me, full metal jacket, peewee's big adventure, fight club, lost boys, american beauty, hellraiser, weird science, pulp fiction.
Opinions:
Abortion- i don't agree with the idea of abortion being used as a type of birth control. if you are being careful & you become pregnant & are somehow financially/ emotionally/ physically unable to provide the best conditions you can for the child, i think abortion is a reasonable option. i would encourage giving birth to the baby & putting him/her up for adoption, but a woman has a right to do what she wants with her own body.
Premarital sex- in moderation, i don't see anything wrong with it. i don't agree with a girl running around having sex with whoever she wants, whenever she wants. i don't think you should have sex with someone based entirely on physical attraction unless you are prepared to deal with any emotional consequences that might follow. i don't think love is a pre-requisite for sex. i respect & admire anyone who waits to have sex until they are married, it is just not my personal choice.
Drugs and alcohol- in moderation. i don't see anything wrong with drinking at a party, or out with some friends. harder drugs (really anything beyond marijuana) scares me, mostly because i have some close friends who are into them & i am concerned for their safety. i personally wouldn't do anything beyond drinking & smoking marijuana, & never have. i think drunk driving, or driving while under the influence of any drug, is intolerable. when you start putting other peoples' lives in danger you are messing with something much bigger than yourself. hard drugs, or even alcohol for that matter, also bothers me to an extent because i don't see the point in potentially endangering your life to that extent just to have some fun.
Gossip- everyone does it. don't even claim that you don't, or never have, because i guarantee it is a lie. i don't agree with it, i don't enjoy it, but i won't claim innocence. it is a result of insecurity & boredom & nothing more.
What do you like about each mod, don't half ass it and say, "Oh, you're so pretty".
_disconnecktie- keep in mind i know nothing about any of the mods except the small amount of info i have gathered from their userinfo/journal. she seems very laid back, which i always enjoy. she likes norma jean! which rules. obviously also has a weakness for rating communities, like meeee.
nvrgrwupinlife- apparently likes rachel mcadams? whom i adoreee. loves her friends & family alot, which is key.
sugarpuss- has jennifer connelly in her icon!! & master shake in her userinfo. what could be better?
