In the bath just now, I was thinking. I often consider writing some of the things I think about during the day; I think they're quite interesting, but they're too small to make an entry on. This however, just about qualifies. I should pre-emptively clarify that 'you' in this entry is an abstract you, and not any particular person or set of people. ( Read more... )

I don't think you're inconsistent. The way I generally classify inconsistent people are people who say that they will do something and then don't. E.g, I'll come over this weekend. (They then do not show up.) Actually, I only call these people inconsistent if they do this consistently which I have just realised is actually a paradox.
Also, I wonder sometimes if you're secretly an android. You analyse things so thoroughly and you think about everything logically. Is there any human in you at all? O_o

I would've thought that spending time with someone would allow you to predict what they're like in sufficient detail to avoid asking "probing" questions in order to gain some insight into their behaviour. If I ever were to ask these questions to someone it would be out of curiousity or indeed to 'learn' about them - but you'd need to be nieve to ... See morethink that any given answer actually gives you any solid facts about someone. I have a general idea about what people may do or say in a given situation based upon prior experience, but these are pictures built up over a large period of time. I think it would be stupid to map someone based upon exactly inputs and outputs because as you've pointed out there is a lot of "confusion" created as in an encryption scheme or what some people would call "chaos ( ... )
