If you look on the expanded screen, you can clearly see where the parents flit in and out by their shadows. He's a handful, isn't he?

You're right. Kids that age are happy to interact with whatever is to hand, and expensive toys are a bit of a waste of money. They do like to get down on the floor and explore and learn, though.

What little ones really want and benefit from is their parents' time and attention. What a shame that everybody has to work so hard to make ends meet nowadays that even the littlest ones are shoved into creches.
