[Confidential :: Caterina Sforza]

There's nothing here. No political leverage. No power. The idle days do not suit my tastes, and the lack of news from home is most troubling.

I cannot idle any longer. The Rosencreutz are here, the Devil himself Contra Mundi is here, and perhaps what the archangel speaks of rings true. That perhaps we are all ( Read more... )

The only difference this place has to our home is the fact that a distance of feet separates us from cultural strife, as opposed to miles.

I wonder if it's a blessing, or a curse.

Or maybe we should avoid putting our eggs in a basket and call it a coincidence.

There has been far~ more fighting than usual lately. Not to mention someone who was..trapping~ people in quite horrible ways, but the police seem to have apprehended the one responsible. I am hoping but doubt that this means things will quieten down~ now.

Don't tell her things like that. You'll make my reporting look inadequate.

Is that not the nature of purgatory?

Yet if this is Purgatory, how are we to explain the presence of God and the Devil?

But in time, we may yet come to understand. Many seek to know the secret of the clock, bypass its mechanisms and find the truth.

But with you coming, her, frauline, who is to say what will happen to the balance of good and evil?

Perhaps so.

You speak as if you know who I am.

Caterina, correct?

I know many people, Your Eminence. It is my business to do so.

I am called the Major.

[[OOC: Permission for him to know things about her because of the previous Caterina?]

Ah, yes. Caterina Sforza.

Why would that be?

...You are a general?

[[ooc: Definitely! :D]]

Crime and deaths will never stop to be, your Eminence, it's written in the history of the world since its Genesis. There is much we must thank for and this is the fact we are able to co-exist without problems regardless of our standing and species.

Indeed; you are right. Perhaps even then, we may still seek to lessen such brutal happenings, as impossible a task as it may seem to be.

That isn't impossible, only difficult. We mustn't lose faith yet and believe in the people's goodness.

Perhaps in a metaphorical instance, you may be right as well. Ah... you are the Duchess of Kiev, Astaroshe Aslan?

I am.

And you are Cardinal Caterina Sforza, Duchess of Milan.

As I am.

It's a pleasure to meet you, Duchess. I thank you for your assistance when Abel had been sent as an envoy to the Empire.
