This sounds cliche, but I've been there. Everything you're saying sounds so close to home it isn't even funny. Not having the motivation to do work I understand from Emerson and not feeling like you belong in the social setting I understand from being here at Wheaton. It's hard to see so many people get it right the first time around (or even second), but you have to trust that you went to Emerson for a reason. I mean, if I believed that every choice I've made that has turned out "badly" in the past few years was truly a mistake and didn't happen for any greater purpose, I think I would have killed myself by now. lol. You've learned a lot about yourself from being where you are. Whether it's been painful or not, you've grown in ways you never would have otherwise. I know it sucks, and I know you wish you could go back and get it right the first time because lord knows I do too. But all we can do is keep trying and keep having faith that SOMEHOW things will turn out right... eventually
