The clock in the parlor seems to pause for a moment, hands stopped just before noon. There is an audible click and the clock comes to life once more. As the chimes start again, anyone who happens to be in the Gardener’s Wing will notice the other locked door opening. Nothing enters, though the memory of the creature trying to open it is clearly
