Venue + Transportation
The wedding is held in Italy where Sophie has a summer home - a large villa that was a gift from one of her early marks.
Nate, not generally a car freak, does appreciate a good vintage car and the couple uses one of his vintage Bentley's as their modern "carriage".
Color/Theme/Overall Design + Cake + Flowers/Decorations
In contrast to the rustic setting of the villa, the color scheme of the wedding is black and white, in honor of Nate's transformation from white knight into the black king - or was it the other way around?
The flowers/decorations and the cake reflect the black and white theme of the wedding - the cake is vanilla with a chocolate cream, coated in white fondant and decorated with hand-painted flowers and real blood-red blossoms.
Dress/Wedding Attire/Hair/Make-Up/Jewelry
Sophie's wedding dress is elegant - snow white with black flowers embroidered on it with silk string and tiny black pearls. Her dark hair is shimmering with white pearls and her lips are the same dark red colour as the accent flowers on her wedding cake. The pearl necklace and earrings were Nate's wedding present to Sophie - he made an exception and stole them for her special day.
Guests
Of course all of the crew is in Italy for the wedding, but Parker and Hardison and especially Eliot aren't too happy that Sterling was invited as well. Tara arrived without a date, but there is no way she's leaving the party alone. Most of the other guests are either family (like Maggie), friends or people the team helped (like Peggy and Hurley). Sophie was especially touched that Peggy agreed to cater the wedding so that Eliot could focus on being a guest and enjoying himself in Italy.
Photography
Ficlet; 200 words, gen. Nate and Sophie have agreed to let Parker document their wedding.
"Okay, now take Sophie for a piggyback ride!"
Nate sighed. "Parker, we talked about this. We want regular, boring wedding photos. No piggyback rides, no climbing, no jumping, no explosions."
Parker huffed, annoyed, but raised the camera. "All right. Then just... kiss her or something."
Nate turned to Sophie and looked at his smiling wife. She looked beautiful in her black and white wedding dress; radiant, elegant and far, far out of his league.
They kissed until Nate was breathless and found that Parker had wandered off.
"You know she took pictures of everyone's shoes," Sophie said. "The wedding album is going to be... unique, to say the least."
"We knew that when we agreed that Parker could take pictures." Nate shrugged. "Hardison will make sure we'll get a few traditional pictures as well." He looked around. "Now, Mrs. Ford, it looks like we're alone for now."
Sophie grinned.
Caterer/Menu
Ficlet, 200 words, gen (with possible OT3 or/and Eliot/Peggy if you squint). Eliot is not happy to let someone else cater Sophie and Nate's wedding.
"I'm the official caterer of this wedding," Peggy pressed out between clenched teeth, trying to keep up a smile in order not to upset the guests - or her employers.
"Yeah, well, you're trying to pair a Chardonnay with freakin' popcorn!" He scoffed. "At a wedding!"
Peggy turned to glare at Eliot. "It's an Italian herb butter popcorn hors d'oeuvre and it goes very well with the Chardonnay." She shoved a small plate at him. "Go try it and tell me it doesn't work!"
Eliot scoffed again, but took a sip of the Italian chardonnay that was made just a few miles down the road from Sophie's summer home in Northern Italy. The flavor was excellent. Eliot took a small popcorn pyramid from the tray. Nice crunch, very buttery, not too overpowering with the regional herbs.
The flavor combination worked.
Peggy smirked. "See? Told you it worked."
Eliot opened his mouth to argue on basic principle alone when Parker appeared at his side and shoved another popcorn pyramid into his mouth.
"What the hell, Parker?" he grumbled.
Parker tugged at his hand. "You're here to enjoy, not work. Come on, Hardison's waiting. You're coming on the dance floor with us."
