yup, i'm already slacking. not SLACKING but this economics really sucks. unfortunately it's my proj ren class so i can't drop it.
everything's better. i went out on saturday and had a better time. i can't get away from cigarettes here though. i'm definitely getting lung cancer.
in 4 days, ian is coming to visit me and i'm very very excited and i miss him very very much:( apparently last night in my sleep i said "he's coming..i see him!!" poor lauren has to sleep in a room with me everynight haha.
then i'm coming home in 2 weeks and 4 days(sept 30) until october 5th(happy birthday rachel!!). it seems as though all of my friends i've discussed this with(except for rachel) have a different break than me.
ok, i have 2 economics assignments due at 11:00pm tonight. i couldn't focus on the first one yesterday when i sat down to do it so i didn't really do it, and the 2nd one is done.

i want to shower but our bathroom light is broken. it's supposed to get fixed today but it hasn't happened thus far. i hate, hate a dark shower. or lets say, looking in the mirror when it's dark...very effective. also..we have one of those full length mirrors. there was a huge dilemma in the decision of where to put it because of the way our room is layed out...it's semi-spacious, but there's also no flat wall, except for the door, where we have a peep hole. after 3 weeks of carrying the mirror out everytime we wanted to use it, we finally decided we don't care about the peep hole and we'd rather have a mirror on our door so we put it up and were soo excited because it's so much better. less than 24 hours later our door was slammed, the mirror fell, i tried to put it up again, it fell again, and then we had a broken mirror and a lot of small pieces of glass on the floor. we cleaned it with a broom which was pretty ineffective so then i came up with the idea to use a lint brush which worked pretty well. we put duct tape on the bottom half of our mirror and it's good as new...almost.
yesterday during the day we went downtown to the museum for a 9-11 exhibit. it was really, really powerful and interesting. i can't even fathom how bad it actually was, but it gave me a better idea. my cousin told me it's impossible to even imagine the damage unless you saw it(he's head of sanitation in nyc) and i really believe that. anyways, it was really good..the museum is very nice and i will definitely be there again. downtown albany(past the ghetto) is also really, really pretty. that's what i saw when i made the decision to go to school here.
