For a long time I've been hoping (more or less quietly) for a fic where Cuddy asks House to move in with her; so I'm totally delighted by that particular little detail. And the emotional intensity of that moment is incredible: he is under attack, and she is - literally - offering him shelter.

It's also amazing how brilliantly you are telling Ali's story. And it's a slightly chilling reminder of how easily people's reputations can be destroyed by these sorts of accusations. It's so wonderful to see how you are describing Cuddy's absolutely rock-solid belief in House: she does know that he is telling the truth (even if he was a total idiot when he did not tell her instantly about Ali's evening visit).

But - for once in my life I am almost (underscore the ALMOST!!!!) - regretting the fact that you are writing a more-than-two-chapter fic. How is House going to gather the necessary evidence to ensure that Ali's story is consigned to the dustbin? Will anyone he cares about believe that little rat????

Awww! Here it is, just chugging along, fan-fic-as-usual, and then you crash it into a freaking flower shop stocked for Valentine's Day. Flowers, balloons, hearts and candy every-fucking-where. :-)

I love it when Cuddy remembers his piano and how much it means to him. I love it even more when she makes it clear how much she wants him in her life, by making space for his music in her life as well. ♥ ♥ ♥
