...This is definitely one of the 'How-do-I-love-thee' stories, where there are sooooo many wonderful moments that I don't even know how to begin singing your story's praises.
...I loved the sly quotes from the actual show (e.g., “Thanks,” she said, when he got to the door. “For everything.”)
...I loved the gentle pokes at the supporting cast (e.g., “I vote mindblowing sex,” Chase said.
“I vote insurance forms,” Cameron said.)
...I loved the set-up in the bar, and how Dex plays the role of the Greek chorus.
...I loved the confusion and excitement and hotness of the scene at Cuddy's.
...I love House being mopey, and Cuddy trying to keep things from getting weird.
But MOST of all I love the fact that this is going to have a second chapter!!!
P.S. I howled with laughter at 'Journal of American Neurology' rather than 'American Journal of Neurology'. I suspect there are some people who think that there should definitely be a 'Journal of American Neurology' ;-)

This is what should have happened in the show: a secret tryst between House and Cuddy, and the pregnancy (while she was still in her 30s) that Cuddy always dreamt of, particularly with House as the father. (How it would have panned out afterwards, I have no idea. But I'm sure it would have been more long-lasting than the first 1/3 of s7.)
