Endorphins: The Finale

Splat!

The tomato landed, with a thud, in front of Cuddy’s feet. It exploded instantly-a Jackson Pollack of juice and seeds and tomato flesh spraying all around her. Some landed on her shoes. A bit of the juice managed to get on her skirt.

She looked up at the balcony to see the offending hurler, as if there was any doubt.

Very enjoyable fic. I really like the therapy sessions with Nolan.

And what a sweet ending we have here. House and Cuddy are moving in together with Rachel and will be doing couple's therapy. Lovely picture indeed to imagine them like this. :)

As always, a spectacular finale! You really SHOULD be practising therapy ;-)

I loved the way you managed to help us understand how totally miserable they both were. The image of Cuddy driving by House's apartment, to see whether or not he was there, was fantastic. And so was the idea that House had reached out to Stacey.

But you really brought things to an amazing crisis point with House seeking heroin, and then calling Nolan in the middle of the night, knowing that he desperately needed help, and from then on it's a rollicking ride (and I howled with laughter at House's analysis of why they should immediately head for the Hilton_

Loved the epilogue: tattered concert tees and LPs - and Rachel finding a photo of him in college - it was such a fun scene.

Ha! Nolan sure was being radical! Nice to see a revered professional trip up now and then, but also gracefully redeem himself.

Love the final scene: the three of them deciding together to share their lives with one another--and which parts of House they can live with. Heh.

I was a little worried about how the family will manage House's pain going forward, but The final image of Rachel grabbing House's bad leg calmed me down.

Don't know how you do it, but you've found yet another variation on the theme that is Huddy breaking up, making up and moving forward (not on).
