I think--I think I know what happened--what could've happened--to Finnigan.

It's all speculative as of this moment, so don't get your hopes up just yet.

Here goes:

Finnigan disappears without a trace. Literally. No body, no magical trace, nothing. That's virtually impossible, considering the circumstances. But from what I figured (based on my research for my project), he could've done something no wizard has ever successfully done: he made himself Unplottable. I don't know how he did it, but it's something, I think.
