I found this through a really old crack_van rec and so far I am thoroughly enjoying it. You represent rural life very well, and the odd limbo state of having sick loved ones when there's no time to grieve, only the will to keep pushing on.

This is just beautiful....I love the pacing and the melancholy and the sheer strength of this. You paint such a perfect picture of what's going on that it's incredibly easy to watch it all happen in your head as you're reading.
