Dear Yuletide Writer:
First of all, thanks so much for writing for me! (I'm so sorry.) Yay Yuletide!
Now. My four requested fandom:
Downton Abbey: I requested Mary, Matthew, Richard, & Edith, and I'd be happy with a story that features any or all of those characters. I'd love some Edith gen, or some Edith backstory, or I crack!ship Edith & Neville Longbottom in a huge Hogwarts!AU kind of way. As for Matthew/Mary/Richard, I actually ship her with both of them. (I mostly ship Mary/Having a Fulfilled Life, but I'm by no means afraid of angst either.) I think her and Richard are really well suited for each other if not necessarily romantic ("We're strong and sharp and could make something worth having") but at the same time, Mary/Matthew, man. I'd like to know what a real marriage between Mary & Richard would look like, and how her continued feelings for Matthew would factor into that. (Or straight-up Mary/Matthew is more than fine too.)
David Tennant/Catherine Tate RPF: They're basically my favorite celebrity friendship of all time. I went to London in September to see them in Much Ado About Nothing at the Wyndham, and I'd love something centered around their experience with that play, with playing a romantic relationship as opposed to Ten & Donna. I equal amounts ship them and don't ship them, so I'm fine with all ends of that spectrum, from straight-up friendshippy fic to a full-blown romance to some sort of ambiguous middle ground with lots of lingering glances and enjoying stage kissing more than they should. (Bonus Adam James in anything Much Ado related would be aces, but TOTALLY not necessary.) Unrelatedly, I'd love something for them like "Five Episodes of Nevermind the Buzzcocks They Never Hosted."
The Station Agent: Man, I love this movie so much and I'd be happy to see absolutely any fic for it. I'd love for all three characters to be featured, though I probably slant more toward Fin and Olivia than I do Joe. But really I OT3 them a lot. I'd love them just sitting around drinking and talking about trains and going on walks and ... anything.
Another Earth (request contains spoilers): I'd love something centered around Rhoda, either version of her. I'd really, really like to know how Rhoda II came to Earth I, whether she knew either version of John Burroughs, how her life was different from Rhoda I's, whether she came as an actual scientist because she went to MIT this time. I'd be happy with something for either of the Rhoda or John versions, and I really liked Rhoda I's relationship with Purdeep too. I'd just really like something for this movie.
Wow, I feel like these are the least helpful things ever. I'm totally happy with whatever you write for any of these fandoms, I really am. I am fine with any rating, any wacky AUs, anything at all. If you need more specific specifics, juniperlane is my roommate and all-around brain twin, so she would probably be able to answer any questions.
