The drive over to Zack's was painful, to say the least. First, Alex did not want to deal with Mr. and Mrs. Merrick; they always acted like Alex was such a burden. He's over heard a few of their conversations about him, including the words hooligan, trouble, and white trash. He had to give them some credit though, because when Alex's parents kicked him out of the house the Merrick's were kind enough to take him in for a while until he moved in with Rian. Even thought they had unreasonable rules. To sum it up; Alex and the Merrick family got along like the Catholic Church and the government.

Alex pulled up to Zack's house and honked his horn. He wasn't too happy that he had to leave Jack's so soon, especially when they could have fooled around, so there was no way he was walking to Zack's door and making small talk with his parents until his friend decided to come downstairs. Last time he entered their house he received a bunch of stares and pure silence. Which Alex had to admit, was a lot  better than hearing bible verses spat at him whenever he cussed. That boy could take forever to get ready. He couldn't blame Zack though, the poor kid is sensitive enough as it is. Having to share one friend is one thing, but having to share two in the same week must feel like shit.

Zack emerged from his house in a white v-neck, aviators, and dark wash skinny jeans. Alex wasn't attracted to Zack like that, but Zack actually looked pretty hot for being, well, Zack.

"Hi. And my mom said to tell you hi as well, along with "Jesus is the truth, the way, and the light."" Zack sniffled as he got in the car. Alex swallowed a laugh; he could tell that his friend was upset. And Alex was not  good with emotions. After a good 30 seconds of just sitting there, Zack spoke up again. "You can drive."

"Zack, why are you crying?" Alex asked with a sigh while letting out a sigh. He unbuckled his seat belt and turned to face Zack. "We're not going anywhere until you tell me."

"Please Alex, it's not even important." Zack pleaded.

"Does Rian know? If he knows and I don't then-" Alex was cut off by Zack grabbing Alex and sobbing into his shirt.

"Oh my… oh… Zack, this is about Rian, isn't it?" Alex realized as he stroked the green eyed boy's hair, placing one arm around him.

"Y-yeah. But don't be mad at him. H-he didn't do anything. I…. I promise. It's just me." Zack managed to choke out.

"Zack, tell me what happened. You know you can tell me anything and everything, right? You always have, and I can't establish why things would be any different now. Is it because he's spending all of his time with Cass?" Alex calmly explained to his green eyed friend.

"Alex, if you promise on your life that you won't tell anyone, and that this won't change anything about us, I'll tell you… okay?" Zack offered, as he sat up to face Alex.

"Of course Zee. Why would you even think that anything could change between us? Nothing ever will." Alex confirmed.

"I.. I.. well, you see, it's like, I guess you could say, well- if you put it this way, sort of, almost-"

"Holy fucking shit Zack I'm trying to be sensitive but just say it already!" Alex cut in.

"I'm gay, Alex." Zack exclaimed, throwing his hands up.

Alex sat there for a moment. All these years of knowing Zack, he always knew he was bi. He never thought that Zack was quiet about it. He just thought Zack had never found a guy to be with, and that's why he always stuck with girls. Thinking about it, Zack never really did want to hook up with girls, not even at parties when he was hammered. Fuck, his phone's ringtone was Lollipop Luxury by Jeffree Star for Christ's sake! But he should still try to act shocked, just for Zack's sake… right?

"Oh, well, that's… new? I mean, I would never have guessed. But, uh, I am too so I don't see why you were so hesitant to tell me. Me, out of all people, would judge you for being gay? That doesn't make sense." Alex replied.

"Yeah, well, I'm not you Alex. I'm not the most popular guy at school who everyone is desperately and not-so-secretly in love with. I'm just his friend who never talks and is too shy to people and is the only football player not dating a cheerleader!" Zack explained.

"Not even close bro. But, what I don't understand is how does this involve Rian?" Alex asked.

"Do… do you think that he would still like me? You know, if he found out?" Zack asked.

"Well no shit, you're his best friend. Other than me. He likes me, right? Holy shit, he likes me right?" Alex asked desperately, causing Zack to giggle slightly.

"Of course he does. I just… I like him. Like, I really, really like him. If he thinks I'm straight he'll have no proof that's even possible. So I didn't really want to come out… I just think things will be easier is I pretend like I'm straight, you know? Besides, he has Cassadee." Zack wiped at his eyes.

And if Alex was a heartless bastard, he'd be saying something along the lines of, 'When were you ever pretending?' Anyways, he was slightly more shocked by the fact that his best friend was pining over his other best friend.

"Oh… oh Zack. I'm sorry. I know this may be hard for you buddy, but I'm sure someone else might come along. Hell, take any of my ex boyfriends. Just… just don't cry, okay? If you want, I'll keep up with your straight act and not go along with Rian when he jokes around, alright? Just… cheer up, please, I'm desperate." Alex begged, not knowing what to do. Zack's like his brother, who's always so happy and upbeat. The only time he's ever seen him cry is from a dog abuse commercial, and maybe a horror movie or two. And then that one time, when Alex was driving and they hit a deer…. Point being, Zack never cries, and it feels like he took a dagger to his stomach when he sees him so miserable.

"So, did you and Matt like…" Alex paused looked at Zack to help him finish his sentence.

Zack groaned. "Can we not talk about what happened at the cabin? Matt was lonely and I was butthurt, it meant nothing and we agreed to never even think about that again." He explained through his facepalm. "Could we like… I don't know, go somewhere or something? I just really, really don't want to see Rian any time soon and just get my mind off things."

"We could hit up a gay bar," Alex suggested with a smirk playing at his lips.

"Would… would Jack be okay with it?" Zack asked, hopeful. He really, really fucking wanted to go to this bar.

"I'll explain to him the situation. I'm sure he'll understand."

"I fucking love you bro" Zack beamed at his friend. His best friend, who always knew the right things to say and do.

Alex whipped out his phone and started typing.

Zack's having some sexuality insecurity, and we're going to hit up Club Karma. I promise I won't even look at another guy when I'm there, not like I'd even want to when I have the hottest thing on this side of the world to myself, but he just really needs me. Is that okay? :* -Alex

Sure thing babe. But you still owe me, you left me alone with nothing but my left hand today. -Jack

----------------------------------------------------
Zack and Alex walked into the bar, which was even gayer than expected, which Alex wasn't so sure was possible. Neon pink lights decorated the interior, with stripper poles scattered around the dance floor and Rihanna's "S&M" blasting through the speakers. Not to mention half the men there looked more feminine than some of the girls in their grade.

Let's just say, Zack was elated.

"No way, is that Kyle burns?" Alex exclaimed, squinting his eyes to see if it was just a mirage.

The peroxide blonde sauntered over to the two, wearing a wide smile and too-tight clothing.

"Hey man! What the fuck are you doing here?" Kyle gave Alex the typical guy hand shake which resulted in a bro hug.

"Zack and I wandered into this part of town and decided to take a gander." Alex explained in attempt to remain low key.

"Well c'mon! Let's grab some drinks and grind!" Kyle insisted before turning around and leading the two towards the bar.

Alex silently wondered who drinks at four pm, but he wasn't about to turn down a drink. Just as long as he didn't do any worse damage than a head buzz.

The boys ordered their drinks, Zack of course ordered a Strawberry Daquari because fruity little drinks match his fruity personality.

Kyle lead the two out to the dance floor with "I Wanna Go" by Britney Spears filling the air, and immediately started grinding on Zack, who seemed to be almost more shocked than happy.

And Zack was really happy.

Kyle was more of Alex's friend than anyone else's in their group of friends, because Alex and Kyle had once gone out in tenth grade. Their breakup was a mutual decision- they wanted different things out of the relationship- so they still remained friends when they were through. Their relationship brought Kyle closer to Alex's group, but they were never that close, so it wasn't awkward at all for Kyle to grind on Zack like he was being paid by a pimp.

I-I-I wanna go-o-o all the way-ay-ay, takin' out my freak tonight.

Alex danced next to them, because as much as he wanted to sandwich Zack hardcore and embarrass him, he didn't want Jack to randomly walk into the club and see Alex rubbing his junk on what's supposed to be his best friend's ass.

Shame on me, to need release. Un-uncontrollably.

"Hey baby, that mouth of yours sure is pretty. I could think of a few other things you could use it for." -Fuck off, I'm taken.
"Damn boy, you sure know how to move those hips." -Fuck off, I'm taken.
"Mmm hello there sexy, what a fine piece of ass you are." Alex huffed and turned around, "FUCK OFF, I'M- GRIECO!"

Alex flung himself onto the older boy, relieved that he wasn't an unattractive, under dressed and overaged pedophile like the other men coming onto him were. Okay, one was kind of hot (not nearly as hot as Jack), but he was wearing a pink v-neck and white jeggings so minus ten points for him.

"What are you doing here man?" Alex asked with a huge smile plastered on his face. Grieco was like his older brother; he fucking loved this man.

"I'm pre-gaming for a huge ass party. Don't tell Matt, or I'll be fucked." Grieco answered before taking a sip of his beer. "Anyways, just wanted to stop by and pedo on you. I actually have to go, I'm already late. Later sexy!"

Alex laughed before turning his attention back to the dance floor. Grieco and Matt playing games on each other wasn't going to end well. More drama added to the mix. Great, this is worse than Mike getting involved with Sam and Ronnie's business on Jersey Shore. Alex stopped dancing and reassessed his motives.

Alex looked over to see his two friends frontal grinding, completely lost in "TGIF" by Katy Perry, so he figured they were too caught up in each other to give a shit that he was going to get another beer. Alex sighed and walked away, really, really wishing that Jack were here right now. Alex looked at the bartender and threw a $20 at him, asking the man to surprise him. Quite frankly, Alex didn't give a shit what he was drinking, he just really wanted to forget all about school.

Because maybe Jack wouldn't like douche bag, player, straight Alex. Not even Alex liked that Alex. But surly his parents would have.

Could he change? Would it be possible for him to just walk through the doors of Dulaney holding the hand of his boyfriend, the new kid? Alex Gaskarth is always a main topic at school. Surely the new kid will be for the first week, and girls will be all over him because he's new and hot and has a Californian accent, and then off course the fact that they're gay for eachother will just put the fucking bow on top.

Alex sighed and downed the rest of his drink, handed the bartender another twenty and waited for another surprise.

Last friday night! Yeah we danced on table tops, and we took too many shots...

A/N: So... Zack's gay? NO FUKIN' WAY, BRO. Never would have expected that one.
And no offense to any Catholics to have no problem with the government. I, myself, go to a Catholic school so I have the right to say whatever the hell I want. But you gotta admit for some people it's true.
