As soon as the door closed, Jack was giving him that cocky half smile that he does “Alexander?” he asked, obviously trying not to laugh.
“It’s my full name,” he said in an annoyed tone.
“Formal,” he commented “I prefer Alex... ‘Lex” he smiled slightly.
Alex fixed his gaze onto the ceiling and stared at it intently.
“You look messy” he chuckled.
“I’ve been asleep for the last few hours”
“Your hair is stuck up in weird angles... looks hot”
Alex rolled his eyes and pulled himself out of bed, once he stood; he reached up and stretched his arms above his head. It was then that he noticed Jack’s eyes glued to his body.
“Avert your eyes” Alex scalded as he bent down and picked up a hoodie and put it on.
“Shut up” Jack laughed, and his cheeks glowed slightly.
“Just... let’s go.” He mumbled and walked passed Jack towards the door.
He was about to touch the door handle when a hand caught the fabric at the back of his hoodie.
“What are you doing?” Alex asked quietly.
“Turn around” Jack said.
Slowly, Alex complied and he turned and raised his eyes until they were locked with Jack’s.
“We’re going to be fine, okay?” he put his hands onto Alex’s shoulders.
“How do you know? How are you so sure?”
“Because... I do” he offered.
Alex laughed darkly “Not very convincing” he said.
Jack shrugged and pulled Alex forward and wrapped his arms around his shoulders then he held him tightly against his body. And gradually, Alex put his arms around Jack’s waist and rested his head into his neck.
Their names being called up the stairs caused them to separate and Jack grabbed Alex’s chin and kissed him before opening the door and pushing him out of the room.
