Title: The Thin Line Between Hate And Love.
Rating: PG-13 at the moment.
Pairing: Jalex.
Summary: That odd moment when you realise you didn't hate someone as much as you originally thought.
Disclaimer: This is fictional, I don't own anything other than the storyline :)
Warnings: Swearing, A bit of bullying, nothing too extreme.
A/N- This is my first ever All Time Low fiction! I usually write McFly, but I figured I'd give this a go ;) It may completely flop, but hopefully not!
Prologue
My name is Alex Gaskarth, I attend a failing school that is full of jerks and idiots, not that I'm complaining or anything. There is one absolute jerk though, and his name is Jack Barakat. He does everything in his power to wind me up, and along with his little cronies, make my life a living hell. I don't think hate is a strong enough word to describe my feelings for this boy, he makes my blood boil everytime he looks at me. When he smirks, which he does pretty god damn often, I just want to slap it off his face.
I also hate Rian Dawson, him and Jack are best friends and take it in turns to just wear me down every single day without fail. His girlfriend is pretty hot though, as much as it pains me to say. I haven't had a girlfriend in 2 years, and that's quite a long time when you think about it. Obviously I've been with girls, but I haven't dated them. Jack has never had a girlfriend, not one, and I don't see him with girls at parties. Maybe he's A Sexual or something...or homosexual. Yeah, he could be, but then again, he makes fun of that kid in our class who is gay, so then again, maybe not.
My best friend is Zack Merrick, he is a very good friend, my only one if I'm honest. Not that I'm complaining again, I swear, I'm not. One is better than none, right? I hope so.
Uh-oh, Jack's approaching, with that same stupid smirk on his face. I wonder how it doesn't hurt, it certainly looks like it does.
"What are you doing roaming the halls when it's class time?" He asked, looking thoroughly amused.
"Fuck off, Barakat, I can do what I like" I grumbled, taking my back pack off my shoulder to search for a pen. I was late for my class, but was texting Zack, he's off sick today, leaving me alone. I was texting him to make sure we were definitely meeting later, not that he replied.
"You forgot that my dad is the principal, which means that I could easily get you kicked out" He smirked, well, technically it never left his lips.
"You are in the hallways, are you not?" I asked, incredulously.
"Yes, but I am going to see my father, what are you doing?"
I paused for a second, before my fingers landed on the pen that I knew I had in my bag. I smiled, "I'm just getting to class" I pushed past him and walked along to my lesson. Oh yeah, his dad is in charge of the school as well, which only makes things worse.
A/N- Was it any good? Should I continue? I'm not sure...
