Chapter 1.
Today is a Thursday, in case you didn't already know, and thursdays only mean one thing: Math class. Obviously I don't just have it on a thursday, but every thursday is paired work, and guess who my partner is on a thursday? Yes, that's right, every thursday I have to suffer the presence of Jack Barakat. Every fucking thursday. Do you think I could get an award for the most thursdays said in one paragraph? Thursday, thursday, thursday, thursday, thursday, thursday. Okay, I'm done.
I sighed heavily, and slammed my locker door closed. This is my daily ritual, as Zack has worked out, and I can't help but do it every single day. I just hate being here so much, and my locker is next to Rian Dawson's. Isn't my life just incredible?
"Alex, can I borrow a pen?" Zack asked, leaning against my locker.
"Why don't you have your own pen?" I snapped.
"Because I left it at home, now stop sulking and give me a god damn pen"
"Fine" I grumbled, and searched in my back pack for a pen. I pulled one out and handed it to my friend, he smiled and took it from me.
"Got a pen?" I heard from somewhere above me whilst I was trying to find my own pen.
"Do I look like a fucking secretary or something" I exclaimed, standing up straight to see that stupid smirk. Of course it would be him.
"No, but you'd look pretty hot in a skirt, well, if we remove your face" He replied.
I rolled my eyes, "Whatever, Barakat"
"My father wants to see you, he's in his office" Jack smiled brightly, as he walked off down the hallway. But not before kicking me in the shin. The bastard.
I grumbled under my breath, and lifted my back pack up to sling it back over my shoulder. I turned to speak to Zack, only to find him completely out of sight.
I walked to the principal's office, and knocked lightly on the door. I was quite scared for some reason, I mean, it's not everyday that you get called to the principal's office for no apparent reason.
"Come in" Came the reply, wait a second, that's not the principal's voice.
I opened the door, and no other than Jack Barakat sat there, looking so smug.
I raised my eyebrows, "Why did you tell me to come here?"
"You have detention" He smiled.
"For?"
"Hanging around in the halls when you were supposed to be in class"
"How can you give me a detention? Your dad runs the school, not you" I asked incredulously.
"My father is at a meeting, and told me to assign the detentions this morning"
"And why should I believe you?"
"Because I have it written here" He lifted up a piece of paper that said,
'Jack, Gaskarth is due for a detention, aswell as Adam Jones and Lucy Shepherd'
I felt like tearing Jack's head off, he's such a...dick. Yeah, I wasn't struggling to come up with a word, I swear. Nice cover, Gaskarth, nice cover.
"Whar time?" I sighed.
"After school obviously, see you in detention" He grinned.
"See me?" I asked, confused.
"I have one too," He frowned, "It appears that my reason to see my father wasn't valid enough, so he gave me a detention"
I smirked, "See you there then"
"Math now"
I nodded, still smirking, I knew he couldn't just get away with anything.
"Get to class" He glared.
Maybe thursdays aren't as bad as I thought, though I'm not looking forward to math or to detention, but it's worth it just to see that smirk wiped off Barakat's face. Haha.
A/N- Sorry it's not very good, next one should hopefully be better. And thanks for all the comments :) <3
