“I'm gross and sweaty Jack oh my god, don't touch me.” Alex exclaimed, trying to wriggle out of Jack's grip.
“No I won't ever let you go.” Jack said into Alex's hair.
“Aw look how cute they are.” Cassadee said teasingly, with her head on Rian's shoulder.
They were on a line to the Kingda Ka in Six Flags. They were almost to the front. Alex had never been on it, seeing he had lived in England until 2 months ago. Jack had been on it a year ago, on his 18th birthday when his parents arranged for him and a couple of his friends to go to six flags. It wasn't really as bad as everybody made it to be. The speed was a bit surprising and when you were going down from the top all you could feel was air blowing and all you could see was the parking lot underneath, with tiny ant sized cars.
They had just celebrated their one month, they went to Bryant Park, to that bench, the one that Alex had tripped over and bought red velvet cupcakes from Crumbs bakery, the same kind and shop Alex had gone to that first day. They had shared a couple of kisses, that was a good thing about New York, everything was so diverse nobody really cared that two guys were kissing.
The roller coaster slowed to a stop and the employe gestured for Alex and Jack, who were followed by Rian and Cassadee to get on. When they sat inside the coaster, they arranged the seat restraint around themselves.
“Ready, Alex?” Jack said, grinning.
“Ready as I'll ever be.” Alex said with a nervous smile.
The ride started, with the coaster going straight at an alarming speed. Jack could hear Cassadee behind them screaming. The roller coaster was now going up, towards the blue sky filled with clouds, the best part was coming. The coaster reached the top, and hovered there for a couple of seconds. At the moment, Jack couldn't be happier. He was sitting with his boyfriend at the top of the world, literally. The coaster zoomed downwards, the air was filled with screams. Jack smiled and watched Alex, who was cursing at the top of his lungs.
“FUCKFUCKFUCKFUCKFUCK HOLY FUCKING SHITTTTTTTT.” he screamed as the ride went on, the coaster practically went down vertically, everybody was at a 90 degree angle. Jack just laughed, it kinda reminded him of how he had screamed when Jack hit Alex's prostate.
The ride slowed to a stop and Alex blinked several times and got out of the seat. Jack laughed, Alex was a little shaky on his feet wobbling around. He put an arm on Jack's shoulder. They walked and saw a stand selling sweatshirts and t shirts that said “I survived the Kingda Ka.”
“I need one of those.” Alex gasped. Jack laughed and went over, buying two, one for himself and one for Alex.
Alex clutched the shirt and rested his head on Jack's shoulder, fitting perfectly in the crook of Jack's shoulder. That's when Cassadee snapped a photo.

All that led to now. To Jack sitting at the kitchen counter in the apartment he had bought with Alex, sharing their one year anniversary next week.
“Babe?...” Alex asked sleepily, poking his head into the kitchen.
“shhh, go back to sleep” Jack said as he got up, lightly pushing Alex towards their room and turning on the light.
Alex laid back down onto their bed and Jack leaned down, leaving a soft kiss on his forehead.
“I love you.” Jack whispered before turning out the lights.
