Comments on Obama: You're probably right about the backing him, whether we love or hate him. I feel kind of bad, because at first I was just thinking how much I'd like to see him fail in office because most of the people I talk to who support him really don't know much about him at all or what he's for (example, my roommate. decided she was voting for him because he came to her campus and she saw him in person and she "just liked him a lot.") -- but I can't really stick with that attitude, 'cause that's hoping that our COUNTRY, as a WHOLE, fails for the next four years ... which is no good for anyone except whoever the Republican candidate is in four years. And that's not really worth it.

Good to see a post from you again. ;-)

May I please just tell you that... I LOVE your CHIPS CHALLENGE icon! Now i really want to go play that game..

There are a lot of people who really support Obama and can list of many reasons and policies and ideals as to why they like him though as well. (I am sure it goes both ways for McCain too)

In response to all of the people who are upset (i understand) that McCain lost... his slogan was "Country First" by hating the president or by hoping he fails these four years is not standing by the belief of "Country First" It is standing by the belief of "Republican Party First... America second" Everyone needs to back this if we are going to get out of this hole that we are in...

Just my opinion :-) I need to catch up on your journal btw! Any tim stories?

Yeah -- I didn't see it (woot for work? wait, no ....), but my understanding is that McCain's concession speech was pretty good and pretty much to that point -- that Obama ran a good campaign and now that he's won, we need to unite behind him. Which I think is an awesome message. :)

Other than Halloween, no new Tim stories. But we're always hopeful, you know. :)

The wedding sounds awkward but you have the right attitude. I have to walk with someone in a future wedding I am not happy about either. I guess its just something we have to do.

I suppose its one of those times to just put the past behind and go forward to make the wedding couple happy.
