Name: Lauren
Are you over 13?: 19
Personality: Ipersonic:
♥ Analytical Thinkers:
-Reserved, quiet persons.
-Like to get to the bottom of things
-Modest persons with sharp intellect, quickly and comprehensively grasp patterns, principles and structures.
-Analytical Thinkers like to work alone; their ability to concentrate is more marked than that of all other personality types.
-Analytical Thinkers have little interest in everyday concerns - home and workplace are chaotic, only concerns himself with banalities such as bodily needs when it becomes absolutely unavoidable.
-The acknowledgement of their work by others does not play a great role for them; in general, they are quite independent of social relationships and very self-reliant.
-Analytical Thinkers therefore often give others the impression that they are arrogant or snobby - especially because they do not hesitate to speak their mind with their often harsh (even if justified) criticism and their imperturbable self-confidence. Incompetent contemporaries do not have it easy with them.
-Whoever succeeds in winning their respect and interest has a witty and very intelligent person to talk to. A partner who amazes one with his excellent powers of observation and his very dry humour.

Adjectives:
Introverted, theoretical, logical, spontaneous, rational, analytical, intellectual, sceptical, pensive, critical, quiet, precise, independent, creative, inventive, abstract, eccentric, curious, reserved, self-involved, imaginative, determined, modest, careful, incommunicative, witty.

♥ Also, my Myers-Briggs personality:
-Idealists are incurable romantics who prefer to focus on what might be, rather than what is. The real, practical world is only a starting place for Idealists; they believe that life is filled with possibilities waiting to be realized, rich with meanings calling out to be understood. This idea of a mystical or spiritual dimension to life, the "not visible" or the "not yet" that can only be known through intuition or by a leap of faith, is far more important to Idealists than the world of material things.
Highly ethical in their actions, Idealists hold themselves to a strict standard of personal integrity. They must be true to themselves and to others, and they can be quite hard on themselves when they are dishonest, or when they are false or insincere. More often, however, Idealists are the very soul of kindness. Particularly in their personal relationships, Idealists are without question filled with love and good will. They believe in giving of themselves to help others; they cherish a few warm, sensitive friendships; they strive for a special rapport with their children; and in marriage they wish to find a "soulmate," someone with whom they can bond emotionally and spiritually, sharing their deepest feelings and their complex inner worlds.

♥Enegram Type Three:The Achiever:
-The "stars" of human nature,
-People often look up to them because of their graciousness and personal accomplishments.
-They are usually well regarded and popular among their peers, the type of person who is frequently voted “class president" or “home coming queen”
-Threes act as living “role models” and paragons because of their extraordinary embodiment of socially valued qualities.
-Threes will try to become somebody noteworthy in their family and their community. They will not be a “nobody.”
-They want success because they are afraid of disappearing into a chasm of emptiness and worthlessness: without the increased attention and feeling of accomplishment which success usually brings, Threes fear that they are nobody and have no value.
-The problem is that, in the headlong rush to achieve whatever they believe will make them more valuable, Threes can become so alienated from themselves that they no longer know what they truly want, or what their real feelings or interests are. In this state, they are easy prey to self-deception. From their earliest years, as Threes become dependent on receiving attention from others and in pursuing the values that others reward, they gradually lose touch with themselves. Step by step, their own inner core, their “heart’s desire,” is left behind until they no longer recognize it.
-Thus, while they are the primary type in the Feeling Center, Threes, interestingly, are not known as “feeling” people; rather, they are people of action and achievement. It is as if they “put their feelings in a box” so that they can get ahead with what they want to achieve. Threes have come to believe that emotions get in the way of their performance, so they substitute thinking and practical action for feelings.
-Threes report that when they realize to what extent they have adapted their lives to the expectations of others, the question arises, “Well, then, what do I want?” They often simply did not know; it was not a question that had ever come up before. Thus, the fundamental dilemma of Threes is that they have not been allowed to be who they really are and to manifest their own authentic qualities. At a young age, they got the message that they were not allowed to have feelings and be themselves: they must, in effect, be someone else to be accepted. To some degree, all of the personality types have been sent the same message, but because of their particular background and makeup, Threes not only heard it, they began to live by it. The attention they received by performing in a certain way was their oxygen, and they needed it to breathe. Unfortunately, it came at a high price.

Likes/ Dislikes: Idiots, drunkards, people who're entitled, people who believe the whole world will lay down for them and they don't have to work for anything, irritating incompetents, basically |D
Positive Traits: Gentle, kind, intelligent, diligent, sensitive, a leader, protective, private, independent, playful, caring, dry, quiet.
Negative Traits: A hidden temper, a dislike of being controlled, can be seen as being distant, absent-minded.

What are some of your goals and dreams? I love history, I love stories, I love any medium expressing both. I'd love to be a historical adviser in films or plays, historical advising in documentaries of some such sort. I love it. I'd love to help actors and actresses express their craft more easily and great stories through telling people what truly happened in history, and allowing these stories to live again. Anything to do with literature, arts, culture, language, history, that's my dream. Anything I can do with these sort of things, through the label of my Classicist/Historian degrees, that would be amazing. (I've been watching a World War Two documentary marathon for three hours now |D) I'm a hard worker, I love work, I love culture, I love history, and I'm a sensitive person, I love anything that can affect the soul.

How do you feel about love and relationships? I know I have high expectations, meaning, I don't lay down for anyone. I need to be in control, and I don't like being controlled. Part of me does desperately wish for a relationship, the other part of me rages that I never need anyone because I'm all that I need, and another part of me is determined never to be captured or controlled. It would take someone special and able to soothe that agitated side to allow my gentle side to come out from behind that wall of fear and emotions.

Tick whichever is applicable to your personality, and please provide an explanation:
I am more:
[ ] Shy [ ] Outgoing: Neither. I'm quiet, but I'm not afraid to speak my mind if the moment truly calls for it. But I'm not a person who deliberately likes confrontation either. I'm polite and quiet and keep to myself most of the time, unless I'm making a crack.
[ ] Creative [ ] Sporty: Both. I'm an athletic person, but that doesn't mean I'm not also creative.
[ ] Academic [ ] Social: Like I said, I'm well-rounded |D -facepalm- -blushes-

There is a ball tonight in high society. How would you react when faced with such a large social occasion? XD Um, I'm not a big "dance/club/ball" person, even at the best of times. Usually I have to force myself to go, even though I love the idea of formal dance, it never really is that, is it? If it filled my ideals of 'proper' respectable dancing in my mind, maybe I'd go, but really, I don't want to watch people grinding against each other. I hate public displays of affection ninety percent of the time, I really do, it just seems so desperate and ugh |D If everyone was following procedure or I was convinced to go, maybe, but besides, no. I'd much rather have a quiet night in to myself reading or something. I can be social and gregarious and charming and enjoy these sorts of evens, but immediate reaction is "Eh, I'll go, but I'm not ecstatic about it, and will probably regret it later." Usually I don't though. xD

Would you ever consider marrying not for love, or for money? Why or why not? No. Why be miserable, even if for social betterment? I value my independence too much, and I like being too much in control.

How would you react to the inevitable gossip people spread about you? Would you confront them, or quietly attempt to rise above the situation? The only thing you can do about gossip is to attempt to rise above and be the better person. I would never attempt to be involved in something as ridiculous as gossip, since I HATE it and never am involved in it personally, and supremely value my privacy. I'd expect I'd ignore it, be the better man, rise above, but be like I am now, secretly joking about it with few people who are close to me.

A man you're in love with/ wish to impress keeps catching you in compromising situations, slandering his judgement of you. How would you deal? I would pretend indifference, but secretly care, especially if I did actually find some attraction towards him. I used to have difficulty not being liked, but now that I'm older and wiser I realize it's truly their problem if they don't like me, not mine, because I know I'm a good person.

What sort of woman would you be in the Regency period, and what would you do? (I.E: Sew, be the perfect regency woman, etc, or not fit the standards?: XD I'd try my best I figure, but I doubt I'd fit in. I'd do something ridiculous like horseback riding on my own and someone would see me and YEE GADS WHAT WOULD SOCIETY MAKE OF IT, but no, I know for a fact that attendants would irritate me and I really wouldn't fit in well at all, as much as I'd try to be polite and kind and all of that rot |D -facepalm-

Post a few pictures of your Regency self:

Me with my new nail-polish and in baggy trackie top. Very regency XD

Most of the time I look quite serious like this though. I'm quite insecure about my smile, so usually I just maintain a serious look in photos.

[X] I have voted on all unstamped applications
(If you don't, your appplication won't be stamped, so please vote!)

(Also, I'll just be leaving this here |DDDD Carry on.)
