yikes. that seemed quite sudden and unexpected.

and you're not a bad person. everyone gets upset to some degree when they're broken up with. it's only natural.

Yeah it was totally unexpected. One day we're talking about him coming to see me Tuesday.. the next day he's saying he wants to be friends because he can't fight his lack of communication skills or the fact that he's always paranoid (He had been upset the night before because I was at my best friend Kaela's house... -rollseyes-)

I'm upset though... because we made plans to go to California to see my family (which entailed renting a car and driving 7 hours up north as well) everyone knows I can't rent a car.. So I have to tell my family up north that I can't make it up there now after telling them all I was coming. Mind you I haven't seen any of my family up north in upwards of three years. =/

I'm not even upset that he broke up with me. I'm the type of girl that picks up and moves on.. No questions asked. -shrug-

Did he specifically say that he no longer wanted to go on the California trip? Friends can take trips together.

But then I suppose in many peoples definitions, "just friends" doesn't really mean friendship.

If I had the money to spare, I'd volunteer to travel out to Cali with ya, and be your chauffeur.

Might not hang out with you all the time, but I'm sure we could work something out so that you could visit your friends and I could go off and do my own thing in So. Cal, and then when you wanted to go up north, I'd drive you up there and then go off and do my own thing around there, and whatnot.

But alas, I don't have that much spare money. doh.

I'm definitely okay. I'm more than okay. It taught me a couple lessons. A day's gone by now it's time to pick up and move on.

As for the inconviences it caused, I'll figure something out I'm sure.
