It might be good to not have your family around - you can have time for yourself. And your thoughts. Make sure you have enough vicy for the pain ( ... )

it will very much be a thinking weekend, but being as i can't leave the house, there will be things i want to do to take my mind off of it too. later on this week i'll have time to get away (well, rather, back to the house that i'm house-sitting), but for the first couple days i need to be at home where someone can watch over me and take care of me. not that i'm completely helpless, but i tend to try to overdo things the first few days because i feel so much better than the days BEFORE surgery...then i get really tired and can't do anything ( ... )

You have two things you must do: 1) If you have the special edition of Memento, go online, look up the crack, and watch all the scenes as they progress. 2) Show up Nate and I on the Lord of the Rings Marathon. Extended editions or bust!!! Recover quick. Love ya!

Admittedly, we were pussies. But I still blame the weather. It was fuckin' hot that day, man. Who can watch LOR under such conditions? Not I. Now, give me some rain and an entire day off, and it's all over, baby.

i think i might just have to show you guys up and watch the extended editions. i figure that'd take up an entire day...and that way people don't have to feel like staying for the entire triology...just stay for the one(s) you enjoy. company is always enjoyed around these times.
