It took UCF a long time to get back to me, too, so I finally just got impatient and showed up one day at the undergraduate admissions office. What a coencidence, it just so happened that while I was sitting there waiting to talk to a counselor my application went through and I was offered addmission, in addition to being able to get right in to talk to the engineering advisor and get all the classes I needed. So if you are home again before they get back to you, you may want to try that.
